Host CodeNomad on your own machine
CodeNomad is downloaded onto every machine as part of the build. It does not start on its own, so it holds nothing until you ask for it.

We did not write CodeNomad. It is NeuralNomadsAI/CodeNomad. We install it on every machine and put it behind the login.
Already on the disk
Pre-downloading is the difference between starting a service and provisioning one. The bytes are already there; starting it is a switch.
The machine is a real VM that keeps running when you close the tab. A process you start does not stop because your laptop slept, your train went into a tunnel, or you switched to your phone.

- No. It ships on every machine and starts when you start it.
